In June 2020 Chinese and Indian troops engaged at various locations along the Sino Indian border. 'Galwan' was one of those disputed spots. Cold and bleak. Locked down at home due to Covid with little distraction, the then recent incident in Galwan had been playing on my mind.
The hint of a solitary over-saturated pale red cloud above a desolate battleground symbolizes the senseless loss of lives.
